The Inky Shop is committed to 100% customer satisfaction! For our Inky Shop inks and toners, we offer a 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee! Of course, there are some fair terms and conditions to protect both us and you.
The Inky Shop complies with the South African Consumer Protection Act No 68 of 2008. All our products have a 6 month warranty unless stated otherwise in the product description or packaging.
How do I return my item/s?

Return to any of our Inky Shop stores with your invoice and, for a printer cartridge, a printed page showing the issue if possible. |
Email us at online@inkyshop.co.za with your order number and let us know the reason for the return. A member of our customer service team will get back to you within 24 hours with instructions for returning your order. |
The small print that you need to know (T&Cs)
1. 'Change-of-mind' Return: You may return new, unopened, unused goods that are still in their original packaging, and with proof of purchase, within 7 days of delivery or purchase from our stores, for a refund or exchange.

If the return is as a result of our error e.g. you received an incorrect cartridge, the cartridge was damaged during shipping, or the cartridge is defective, the return shipping cost will be covered by us. |
2. Remember to carefully check printer and cartridge model numbers - the onus is on our customers to ensure they've purchased the correct cartridge for their printer BEFORE opening the packaging as we cannot refund or exchange opened non-faulty cartridges or other merchandise such as printers, office equipment etc.
3. Repair/Replace/Refund: We will gladly repair/replace/refund any defective merchandise provided it is accompanied by your proof of payment and is within the warranty time frame shown in the table below. For printer consumables, we reserve the right to ensure that the cartridge is not empty (used up). We do some simple checks to assess the fault and it is helpful, if possible, to bring in an example page of the printing error. For online purchases, one may either return the cartridge to a store (please quote your order number) or contact us for further instructions. This usually entails a chat with one of our technical staff to assess the fault and to see if we can troubleshoot the issue, failing that we ship to you a replacement or process a refund.

4. If any promotional discount was applied at the time of purchase, you will receive a refund or credit only to the actual amount paid as shown on the invoice.

5. We will process your refund as quickly as possible, however please be aware that it may take a few days due to transit time for us to receive your return from the courier if applicable, and the time frame for our 3rd party payment gateway, PayFast, to process the refund.
6. To cancel an online order, please contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not yet shipped, we will immediately start the refund process. If your order has shipped, we will effect the refund, less shipping, as soon as we have received the item(s) back from you and processed them at our warehouse.

7. Our refills are backed by a 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee. We can't guarantee that every refill will work, due to numerous factors outside of our control (Read our Cartridge Care Guidelines), but our guarantee means that we will give you your money back if it doesn't work to your satisfaction!
We pride ourselves on providing a professional vacuum-technology refill service with cartridge specific inks, resulting in the vast majority of our refills working like new, however, in the instance that your refill doesn't perform as expected, we will refund the refill cost which you can choose to put towards a new replacement cartridge. Please understand that our refill service provides a cost-effective alternative to purchasing a new cartridge - if it doesn't work, we refund the price of the refill, not the price of a new cartridge.
